Everyday Eye Tutorial

I’ve got a new palette, which means new eye looks for the Internet. Here’s what I’ve been getting up to using NYC’s HD Trio Eye Shadow palette in Central Park Plums.

1. Apply a light pink, champagne shade (top shade in palette) to your entire lid.

2. Apply a pinkish brown shade (middle  shade in palette) to to your outside third of the lid.

3. Apply a plum shade (bottom  shade in palette) to the crease and the outer third of your lower lash line. Make sure to blend it out so that it doesn’t look all harsh and crazy.

4. Apply a beige liner to your inner corner and lower waterline. Use a brown liner on your upper lash line.

5. Apply mascara. I am using a brown mascara here – and you’re done!

I hope you’re having a great week so far!

I always just stick with eye liner and mascara. I’m definitely challenged when it comes to eye makeup, so I don’t experiment with eye shadow. But you make it look easy! Maybe I’ll give it a shot.

There’s nothing wrong with sticking to the basics. :) But, eye-shadow can be really easy once you figure out what works for you (also blending is super important!).
